At OOME, we prioritize our customers and aim to provide products that exceed expectations. However, we understand that there may be occasions when you need to return a product. This policy outlines the detailed process and conditions under which returns can be initiated, ensuring transparency and fairness in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related e-commerce guidelines.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
1.1 Return Window
- The return request must be initiated within 7 calendar days of receiving the product, as verified by the delivery confirmation provided by our courier partners.
1.2 Product Condition
- The product must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
- All accompanying materials, such as accessories, instruction manuals, warranty cards, and any promotional items or free gifts, must also be returned.
- Products showing signs of usage, tampering, or damage caused by the customer are not eligible for returns.
1.3 Proof of Purchase
- A valid invoice, receipt, or order confirmation email must be presented as proof of purchase for initiating the return.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns:
- Products that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery.
- Items not in their original condition, missing essential components, or repackaged without care.
- Products explicitly marked as “Non-Returnable”, “Final Sale”, or under clearance sales at the time of purchase.
- Returns initiated after the 7-day return window.
- Products damaged due to negligence, unauthorized repairs, or improper usage by the customer.
3. How to Initiate a Return

3.2 Approval of Return Request
- Our team will review your return request and verify its eligibility based on the provided details and evidence.
- If the return request meets our policy criteria, you will receive approval along with the return instructions.
3.3 Packaging and Shipping
- Ensure the product is securely packed in its original packaging with all accompanying materials to prevent any damage during transit.
- Customers must ship the product to the designated address at their own cost, except in cases where the product was received in a damaged or defective condition.

4. Refund Process
Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned product.
4.1 Conditions for Refund
- The product must meet the return eligibility criteria upon inspection by our team.
- Refunds are only issued for the product’s price, excluding shipping or handling fees, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
4.2 Refund Timeline
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval after the product is received and inspected.
- Refunds will be credited to the bank account used during the purchase or the account details provided by the buyer.
4.3 Deductions
- If the return is due to a reason other than defect or damage caused by us, the cost of return shipping and other applicable charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Replacement Policy
If you prefer a replacement over a refund:
- A replacement product will be shipped within 5-7 business days after the returned item is received and verified.
- OOME will bear the shipping costs for sending the replacement in cases of manufacturing defects, transit damage, or incorrect deliveries.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, follow these steps:
6.1 Notify Us Within 48 Hours
- Contact our customer support team via email or phone within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide clear photos or videos showing the damage or defect, along with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
6.2 Resolution Options
- Replacement: We will replace the product at no additional cost.
- Full Refund: If a replacement is not feasible, we will issue a full refund, including shipping charges.
7. Costs Associated with Returns
- For returns initiated within 7 days due to product defects, damage during transit, or incorrect delivery, OOME will bear the cost of return shipping.
- For all other returns initiated after 7 days, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
8. Exceptions and Limitations
8.1 Service Centers
Currently, OOME does not operate service centers. All warranty claims and returns must be handled via shipping to our factory address as mentioned above.
8.2 Transit Liability
OOME is not responsible for:
- Items lost, damaged, or delayed during return transit if not arranged by us.
- Ensuring that the returned product reaches us safely is the customer’s responsibility.
